lot`s of commercials shot with HVX and DVX

Wow. Really nice. Sometimes people post really amateurish stuff on this site, but this is definitely A-list material. Good work! If I ever have to shoot in the Caribbean I'll look you up.

What the heck! How is everyone watching this video! When I download or click on the link, it just leads me to .Mac where the screen says its unavailable. My whole apple system is update. How is this happening!!!!

Wow, very professional work! My favorite is the Ennia Insurances 2005, very nice camera work and it has a nice story to it.

How did you film the running shots? especially the ones in the rocks and then the one where the man jumps over the camera, those were really well shot.

Also, the exposure was top notch...no blown out skys, what did you use for lighting?

for the ennia 2005 , no additional lighting was used for the exterior shots,
the shot on the rocks and the jump over the camera was filmed with the dvx handheld

I use lots of handheld with my DVX too. I have had a few comments about the dark woods scene in "Sausaghead" where indie film guys think I used a steadicam, but it was just good old fashioned handheld. That's the beauty of a handheld camera like the DVX/HVX with image stabilization. Your arms do the work of a steadicam arm and the little shakes get immobilized by the optical image stabilization. It's not as nice as a $20,000 steadicam (of course), but sometimes you can fool people.

SteadiCam's and handheld def both have their place.

These commercials look really well storyboarded. Good to see people just taking that time and effort to make something look professional.

I never use storyboards , a lot of improvisation do !
I work just with a little shotlist ( sometimes even without )
