In 2006, we signed a distribution deal with a small company based in LA, and the film was released in the USA on July 24th 2006. A lot of you have kept up with my trials and tribulations surrounding all that.

I can't believe i'm going to say this...LIMBO is now available for purchase in North America on AMAZON. Other territories will follow, but the film can be purchased internationally from amazon.com via the US. THE LAST FOUR YEARS OF MY LIFE HAS MEANT SOMETHING!!!

It will be available to rent in the US on NETFLIX in the next two weeks. A blog and podcast are also up with videos and information. All those who have seen LIMBO can leave reviews, star ratings and comments on the IMDB.COM page, this will really help raise the profile of the film. Amazon and Netflix also allow for comments and reviews to be left.

Thanks DVXUSERS. Many people's advice on the use of the DVX100B was really helpful (we shot bonus features with the DVX).

Please support the film and let me know your thoughts. I've heard from the critics and distributors, but at the end of the day i'm a film fan first. I made the film for regular film lovers like you guys. It's your opinions that matter most.

Spread the word.

Congratulations!!!!

Do you mind telling who you got picked up by? I was picked up by Vanguard Cinema and your release strategy sounds the same.

I will pick it up from Amazon. i look forward to seeing it.

Congrats again.

Jason

Thomas, you know that I've been with ya since the beginning and won't be Netflix-ing this one, I'm a sale all the way. Congrats man! Can't wait to see the cut I haven't seen...

I gotta know, what are you working on now/next presumably with the DVX?

I believe it will be similar to the sale version. I know for sure that the sale version has all the extras on the disc. I think the main reason people want to buy the film is because it needs to be watched many many times to get all the points. So i'm told by people from festivals who wanted to know when they could buy it.

This film was made before the advent of 24p. We had to get a process called FilmLook done on it.
