Can anyone tell me what this is?

[ramsaur]

Need to know what the dolly tripod in the pic is called and is the track called a track? or is there a specific name for it?

it is just a dolly with a pedistal base with a schatler tripod head mounted on it. and the track looks like some kind of fast track system. They are using an XL2 that is a 40 inch C stand with a black flag. There is some sort of monitor wiht a hood on it.

actually it's an XL1 but is there a specific name for that type of dolly? and what would you call the track?... film track, tripod track.. see i don't know someone give me a hand.

What kind of tree is that anyway ?

[David Jimerson]

If it were an XL-1, it would have that annoying red patch to the left of the dial.

I think it is some kind of spruce tree but nott 100% on that.

How about the hedge ? Reticulatis combonbis with a french flap cut?

[Terry_Lasater]

It appears to be some kind of video shoot. These outings usually result in audio and video being recorded simultaneously to a digital tape which is later captured in a computer where it will undergo a process called editing.

Hope that helps,
Jan
