TP Scene from short film in progress

This is a scene from a short film I made with my cousin and I am just now finishing up with the editing. I just wanted to share this scene and see if the lighting seemed believable enough, this id the first film I've made using lights. There is no way to reshoot, but I thought I would get peoples opinion anyway.

I would of used high powered lights. I personally know little to nothing about lights. I would of done it like this though. I would of used high powered work light and aimed them at key parts of the scene. (house, tree, the kids, etc) and used another light to light up the backround. I'm sure someone else will give you better advice. Maybe you can brighten it up in your NLE.

I also am not to fond of the music... It's just not my personal cup of tea. I also think the editing could be alot faster paced to fit the music. To make it seem more "fun" as the actors looked a little bored.
