Shot it yesterday, did a little CC and posted a few up here. Luckily we didn't get kicked out of the location before I finished shooting.

Hey,
Nice job. I really like the first shot; the CC is nice, and plus its just a beautiful shot as well.
The second and third are tied for number two with me. I really like #6 as well, just because it has dimension with the lighting, and the trees in the upper part of the frame.
Good job overall, but I'd say ditch the last one.

I absolutely dig the background for the first one, and the 4th one looks good enough to have come out from a car product catalogue. Third shot is pretty neat as well - What was this shoot for? And care to share your cc process with us?

Thanks for the input! For the last one I wanted the reflection of the buildings to stand out but I guess I didn't do a good enough job with the cc to make that happen.

Thanks again.

Thanks for your input! Basically, I am really into modified cars, and some of the owners of these cars want 'features' of their cars for either a souvenir or keepsake or to send to companies that make parts so they can get sponsorship from them.

The CC process is fairly simple. Because it was around sunset that I shot the car, I thought it looked pretty good already. So what I did was put it in After Effects and I mainly used Magic Bullet's 'Sharp' and 'Buffalo' presets, and adjusted the pre gamma, white diffusion, warm/cool most often. I think the MB presets are great starting points, but I think some people forget that they are meant to be tweaked.

These shots look lovely. I'd like to see the original screengrabs before you did the CC, please post them! Did you use magic bullet? and can you tell me what settings you used?

good work.

good work.

detail level: -3
v detail level: 0
detail coring: 0
chroma level: 0
chroma phase: 0
color temp: 0
master ped: -6
a. iris level: -1
gamma: cinelike
knee: auto
matrix: normal
skin tone: off
v detail freq: thin
progressive: 24p(adv)

Basically those shots not CC'd would look more or less the same. It's just CC'd for more contrast, more saturation, and a slight warming.

See my CC workflow a couple posts above.

Thanks

Nice setting, shots all look pretty good to me. I reckon replace that honda or whatever with a spliffy new sports car and that would have looked catalogue type stuff. Thanks for the heads up on tweaking MB settings!
