HVX w/ mini35 and 2 monitors? How?

So I'm ACing a shoot in Texas and we're renting the HVX and the P+S mini35 and zeiss lenses and such. Now here comes the trouble. They don't have the P+S breakout box. Being the first AC, I need an HD onboard for focus. The director would also like a monitor (SD or HD, doesn't matter) to watch along as we shoot. How can I hook up two monitors coming out of the HVX? The shoot is in 1 week.

Just a thought (keep in mind I don't have an HVX yet), can you come out of the HVX's component out to a "Y" splitter allowing you to send a signal to two monitors? Or, see if your on-board monitor has pass through capability and come out of that monitor into the second one. Would be the cheapest route I believe.

Can't use a simple Y splitter because the impedence would be split too. I'm waiting to hear the official word on the video out of the onboard, but I assume if it had what we needed, I wouldn't have been called with this problem.

Question for you Noah... if you are using the component out for your on-board monitor does it cancel out the composite outs? If not perhaps you can run your second monitor off the composite side of things.
Jim

((edit)) Oh and more more thing... I have a 19 inch hi-res JVC monitor that allows for pass through... perhaps you send your camera straight to the client/producer monitor and than out to the camera. I personally would think this would be a bit cumbersome with cables cramping your freedom of movement.

Yeah, cables would be a big deal running from camera to the production monitor and back to the onboard. I'm not sure about the composite out as I don't have the camera myself, can anyone with the camera confirm this?

Also, I think there was some confusion between the rental house and the director and me. I think the rental house has the panasonic BT-LH900 8.4" monitor, which I think has video out. If so, that's all we need and problem solved. Can someone confirm for me that if I have a component in from the camera, I can have some sort of video out (component, composite, etc.)?

Noah,
Here are the connectors for the LH900 monitor:

Input and Output Connectors
SDI Video- 2 lines, BNC x 3
Component Video- 1 line, BNC x 4
Composite Video- 1 line, BNC x 2
External Power- 4-Pin XLR
RS-232C Control- D-SUB, 9-Pin
GPI- D-SUB, 9-Pin

Just went to Panasonic's website and took a look at the operating manual for the LH900. There is SDI out as well as video out via BNC. I hope that helps.

Okay, so we're going for the Panasonic LH900. However, the rental house seems to think that we can't mount that with an israeli arm to the HVX. Since they clearly don't have it, couldn't I buy a hot shoe adapter? Would this be too much weight? I was also thinking about a mini cardelini. Could I mount this to one of the camera rods? Or maybe to the handle on the hvx?

Unfortunately the HVX can not output component simultaniously with any other output (s-vid or composite). As soon as you plug in the Component cable, all other outputs are disabled. Looping through your on board is your best and almost only option.

Thanks for clearing that up filmstox. Just got off the phone with the owner of the rental house who couldn't have been nicer. I guess I didn't realize just how big/heavy that panasonic monitor was. He said that since they just bought the monitor and hvx, they haven't come across anyone who wanted to mount it on the camera. Afer getting off the phone with the manufacturer, he said he's going to have to purchase some super expensive custom built bracket to be able to securely support the monitor. I didn't think it was going to be such a big to do. Anyway, I think its all figured out.
