Hey Everyone!
I love lurking around these forums and reading all the great advice. Now I'm getting a chance to put it to the test! I'm going on my first job tomorrow with my DVX. Any last minute advice? I'm shooting cut aways at a mansion in upstate New York.
Thanks!

CHARGE EVERY BATTERY YOU OWN! JUST IN CASE.

pit little stickers on your tapes and name them T1 T2 T3... etc.
Good luck man, have a great time buddy.

Bring every piece of equipment you might need. You never know when something unexpected comes up. Always be prepared! And don't forget sunscreen.

It basically means you have to pay within 30 days from invoice date.

"Net 30
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Net 30 is a form of Trade Credit which specifies payment is expected to be received in full 30 days after the goods are delivered. Net 30 terms are often provided with associated "credits" that are given for early payment; e.g. 2% 10, Net 30 indicates a 2% discount is provided if payment is received within 10 days of the delivery of goods, and that full payment is expected within 30 days."

I always thought Net 30 meant that Guitto and the cement overshoes would show up if it went to Net 31. A little 'swim wit da fishes' music, miastro!

Shoot more footage than you think you might need...especially if you are the one deciding what and what not to shoot...the more options you have the better.

remember, when shooting b-roll. Make sure your shots are no-shorter the 5 seconds minimum. also, remember to always "Pull and park" so, if you are doing a pull out, pull all the way out, and then park there for a few seconds, don't jsut end during the move. Also, for real estate, make sure your moves are nice and slow.
