My New Reel!

Noah,

Impressive reel. i really like some of the shots there. I do remember watching that music video (the fight club thing) and being really impressed. Keep up the good work.

I think that this is really polished and totally slick. I love the sound design with the reel and the music video stuff looked really good. I think this is a nice calling card for you.

i hope my reel looks as great as your's does some day... do you have a link to the video with the 2d ocean waves? that looked sweet.

Awesome shots and motion graphics.
A few comments though..
You need a drop shadow on the opening and closing titles, I found it quite hard to read. It will probably be worse on a TV set.

Also, the woosh sound stoped abruptley at the end..kinda minor but just thought I'd help you polish this piece to perfection. :)

It looks good for an indie VFX specialist and rockvideo editor. But if you are a director do you have any scenes that you could hold on so we can see your dramatic work?

Agree 100%. If you're going for "director", you need to show that you have the ability to "create" a scene. Instead of just showing a bunch of random shots, we need to see shots that make up something. Doesn't even have to disrupt the music or anything...

thanks

thanks

Thanks for the comments so far...In response to the last two...i didnt want a reel that was more than 2 minutes long. I direct but everything you saw in that reel i've done everything from producing them to editing them, to shooting to directing. So its more of a promotion for everything. But thanks for the comments so far. I put this together in less than 2 days.
