:) Very nice!!!! I have my redrock on order and seeing this makes me so happy with my purchase! I can't wait.

This is great!! Are you going to wait for us to beg for more?!

Very nice job!

is it just me, or does images from the M2 just look so damned filmlike, the contrast with the stock lens is very jarring. Looking stunning man!

Oh Drool, just when I've acquired an HVX and Shake and think I could'nt possibly want any new art tech. tools I see this. Man, that really does look so much like film. Does anyone have a link to footage showing the DOF on an HVX w/ the Century Optics 1.6 and a promist filter?

How'd you trick Ms. Tripplehorn into working your short? Love me some Jeanne Tripplehorn! Please tell her "hello" and to please drop me a line whilst my wife is still out of town.

AMAZING! :-) Just wish my M2 would focus around the entire frame.. I've tried just about everything!!!!

My m2 setup was a rental, so I might not know specific details about the unit itself. I set the camera at 80 zoom with focus at 19. Nikon lenses were included with the rental, and I made the most use out of a 50mm f1.4, and 85mm f2. I shot about 75% of the shots with the lenses at maximum aperture, using the NDs in camera to get exposure.
With a Cinetech follow focus and Chroizel mattbox attached to the Redrock rods, I normally used a linear polarizer and warm enhancing filter for the desert shots, in addition to scene files that differentiated the hot and cooler looks.
I also rented a Marshall 7" monitor, which held up reasonably well for the price. I had been on a previous shoot with the Panasonic 9", which didn't require the viewer to be so dead-center for an accurate picture as the Marshall did.

How, by itself? The Joshua Tree clip is at the end of the trailer. Are you requesting that it be uncompressed or what?

oh sorry, i just saw the video.

very nice cinematography!

i really need to learn how to do that 2fps, 350-degree shutter setting.

This is great footage dcarstens,

i was wondering if you have done any cc yet, specially with the "warm" stills in the desert with m2??

The desert scenes were not CC'd- my scene file had a Color Temp -6 and Master Ped -10. The actress has a modeling background in the UK- look up Kate Groombridge. I was quite impressed with her acting (I was the DP on this film, not the director).
