HVX Production In Italy! "Alieno, l'uomo del futuro"!

We shot a feature film in Italy (full feature film) called "Alieno l'uomo del futuro". We end 2 days ago. All was pretty cool. I will publish a technical article on the web in the next days (in Italian and in English) about working using Hvx.
We used Panasonic Ag-Hvx200 Pal Ver. I'm very satisfied. Check out our low quality teaser here and some photos:

Let me know what you think about it.
I'll let you know some new info about editing Mxf.
I will post all info that we can share.

Best regards,

Here's one actor in our cast list:

The running guy in the beginning of the trailer seems underexpopsed. In general I have the feeling that the footage I have seen from the HVX200 on this side is a little underexposed. Why is that? The trialer looks very good and professional.

Ciao Mauro,

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. It would be very helpful if you could write down your experience with regards to workflow on the PAL side. I live in a PAL territory and I thinking of purchasing a HVX soon. My only concern is the editing side. Apple doesn't yet support the 720/25p nor 1080/25p. At least I haven't found any information on their site about it.
I opened up the trailer and saw that it was on windows media streaming. So, I presume you are working on a PC, right? Is there a way you could provide us with a Quicktime version of the trailer? I am using a Mac and can't watch it.

I look forward to reading your articles.

All the best.

Fidel.

I will post a new Quicktime teaser soon. Underexp? Here, on my monitor, I can see it normal... but sometimes I saw amazing colors when you let Hvx works underexp. Tx...I like to know what ppl thinks about it.
Araujofh...where o you live? I'm able to edit mxf here...pn too. I'm using Pc comp so. I will post an article in italian soon...and another in english.

Hi Mauro,

I am based in Angola, but I will purchase the HVX in London as I have a relatinship with a dealer who makes greats discounts.

But, Since I am using a Mac, I was just wondering what the workflow was for PAL users. Maybe some Final Cut Pro users know of Final Cut Pro's support for 720/25p and 1080/25p.

I will be awaiting for your articles. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Yes... you can cut using FCPPRO after update. Problem using Mac is working in 720p 25pn (native).
