hoping to figure it out eventually. speaking of the battery pack, does yours do anything except produce noise and vibrate the adapter? mine doesn't seem to. what's the purpose of this thing anyway? the front piece is still falling off, too. thinking of attaching it to the handle with a rubber band. any thoughts, gentlemen?

Im still new to everything. Anyone mind telling me what the difference is between the $300 one and $700 one?
 
pretty much the F-stop is better (you get more light)
and the $700 flips the image for you, so when your shooting you see the image
right side up as oppose to the the $300 one where its upside down
