Ulead NLE for 24P? What are you using please?

My friend just bought Ulead Media Studio Pro 8. I don't hear a lot about this NLE. But I looked at the project presets and it had 24P listed as NTSC 2-3-3-2. The interface was not bad really. Is this a 24P timeline NLE? I downloaded a trial version but didn't get around to trying it out yet.

What 24P editors do all of you use? I would like to hear from you. Thanks.

In terms of SD 24p footage, I think Sony Vegas is the way to go. I have been using it for the past 2 years and love it. I can move so quick on it. I recently went to the dark side and got a quad G5 with FCP (because various projects required workin on a Mac). Although I really like FCP, I still find myself moving back to Vegas for SD 24p footage.

I suggest you try the demo. From what I can tell about Ulead (and I detest everything Ulead ever made, and this just adds to it), it only supports removal of advanced pulldown, not standard pulldown.

No question, though, for integration with the DVX and 24p editing, nothing compares to Vegas.
