World of Warcraft inspired short film (shot on DVX 100)

Haha nice job! I used to be a WoW junkie myself until I realized it was sucking all my time away :crybaby:
 
wow man, those shots of the "in game" were amazingly done!

please tell us what oyu used for the effects?

and where did you find such fake looking trees?
( the bark mostly )
 
Also, I've never played War Craft and I got it all. No disclaimer necessary.
I think we get the idea of "the game" and accept whatever jargon is associated with it and pretty much get the gist.

And nice parallel structure with her going down in levels in her job/life while going up levels in the game.

Hah that was really entertaining. Never played the game but I got it and enjoyed it a lot.

Thanks all,

we were lucky enough to cut and grade this film on an EQ system, which gave it its very distinctive look. It also enabled us to do all of the effects, some in realtime.
 
This would be my latest youtube favorite. Nicely done. been showing it around the I.T. shop lots of gamers here...

Would love to get a high rez version for my dvx collection..
