What gives that 70s Look?

What settings of colors/temp/gamma/etc. make that authentic 1970's look? I have been playing with different settings, and am getting better results, but still can't pinpoint the exact colors I am looking for. Please give me some ideas.

I would say to try

Haha

To the original poster: Do you have a picture of the specific 70s look you're looking for? Are you looking for that commercial look for those old commercials or a 70s aged film type look?

Reply back with a pic.

you might try this:

70's
detail level -4
v detail level -7
detail coring 3
chroma level -7
chroma phase 1
color temp -6
master ped 7
a iris -4
gamma - cine like v
matrix cine-like
24p

Yea i tried that already. Basically, I guess my favorite example would be Taxi Driver. I just really like that faded, grainy, washed out look. I guess I should just keep playing with the settings.

I would opt for props and wardrobe over a "look" that is if you are going for something thats taking place in the 70's.
