Trailer for 35min Short...Letus 35 in B&W

I loved the shot at the end where it fades to color. The grain is quite noticeable for alot of the shots though...But I still like what I see

Did you forget to turn the vibrating function on for some of those exteriors...the grain is noticable - can't say its a bad thing though. It works stylistically. Also, what lenses you use and do you have the flip or the flip enhanced. Any other relative info would be great. The fonts are kind of unpleasing though.

I have the letus 35a, not the flip. I use a 70-200, 28-90 and 50mm lenses. There was one shot in the whole 6 days of shooting where i forgot to turn on the vibrating GG, and it is in the trailer. I dont mind the grain though, i think it works.

The trailer is great. I definitely want to see more! I love against me and the 35 makes it soo nice! Thanks for sharing.

For me I felt the trailer would have been most powerful if it ended with Against Me. That was where the peak interest was I believe. The gun handover just solidifys what's going to happen. There is a question/statement presented by the radio broadcaster. PERFECT because I want to see more about the event he's talking about. Your MC has blood on him it raises even more eyebrows but then it trails off. The song changes. The last shot loses energy because of length. I am not where you will go with it. My suggestion make the end much more active, cut the last shot a little shorter or throw in a few more shots. Personally I would remove the gun handover and end it with the Hooka Shot. Throw in your text and ride that last emotion till the end.

I never will understand why anyone thinks they should make a trailer for a short film?
and this one I got nothing from? Know Idea what the film is about? or who? nothing
very boring and would not make me want to see anymore at all.

Just being honest and that is what we do here
keep trying

Looks very pro, I thought the grain looks awesome, at-least that's what I'm into. It just gives it that dirty 16mm/35mm look, that's what I crave for!

NICE JOB!!!!!!!

I like the take that you took on the trailer. The story you have scripted is nothing like what the actual trailer is depicting. Everything in the trailer is completely blatent as the storyline concerns. The gun hand off is not what is going to happen, it is what happens, that is the final scene. The hookah is intimate dialogue in arabic about why it needs to happen. But of course you dont know that because u havent read a script and it is just a trailer for a 30 or so minute movie.

I made this trailer because it would envoke people to voice their comments about what they saw. If you liked it great, if you didnt why?

There is no need for a trailer on a short, agreed. It's purpose was to get people interested in the film.

the trailer was amazing. Don't change a thing...

Loved the sound of the voiceovers...

post up your short when it's done!

interesting... funny too, I noticed one of the main actors is Paul Howard. He just recently auditioned for our film.
