check out the HVX for sale on craigslist

Clearly a scam.... In fact, the entire Craigslist verbage and even the photos were copied from a ebay listing (that is not located in San Francisco and has a much high price, of course).

Beware of things seem too good to be true!

He said he took the link down because it was thought to be a scam and he didn't want a DVXuser falling for it.

Thanks for heads up guys, I almost fell for it. I even emailed him and got him to lower the price to $3500, who in their right mind would sell a perfectly good HVX200 for $3500??? Again, thanks...

Also be very cautious of anybody wanting you to ship something directly to Nigeria...

Everything I've ever posted on Craigslist for sale, I have had offers from scam artists wanting way more than it. They will send 10+ e-mails from different accounts offering $100-$200 over the selling price.

Just as a rule-of-thumb, I don't recommend anybody to ever ship something to somebody that doesn't live near you. I have had 3 faulty checks sent to me in my short craigslist history.

The way I see it, the whole point of Craigslist is to sell your stuff locally, if someone is stupid enought to send their stuff to Nigeria or wherever and fall for their scam, that's what they get. There is plenty of info on the net about how not to fall for scams. Its just a search button away.
