Okay so No pun intended but I went to a small town in the mountains, about 20mins from my house n Denver.

I did not do anyhting techical. I also did not do any REAL editing, just through it together in about 15mins. No CC, Just me and my wife walking around, and happend to shoot some stuff.

Let me know what ya think of this small town, and of course, the footy.

P.
Cant help to laugh at all the puns in my post :)

Funny stuff... haha, looks like a fun place to take the HVX for a spin. I liked your low angle train stuff..... now get some small explosives and set that sucka on overcrank and show me some independance day effects! Cool stuff.

At first I was like... I don't get the "puns"... but then I saw the footage and it made much more sense. :) Some of the shots from the train looking out at other things were really cool... instant dolly! I also noticed that some parts were either slightly sped up or at a different shutter speed... did you mess with the variable framerates or just tinker with the shutter, or is it all post? Thanks for sharing.

I did not speed up or slow anything down. Just 2 differnt Vari F rates., and I shot it all handheld so please bare with me. The shot that I hate the worst is the one where I put the camera in the small house and pull back, and the only way I could get is to run almost literally backwards, did not turn out the best, but I thought with a track and jib that would have looked cool :)
Here are the settings,

CineV F5
Detail: +2
Croning +2
Master P -7
720p/24pn 24fps, and 60fps.
Shutter 1/500
Camera Mode Auto

I would really like to see some HVX overcranked footage of something blowing up.... Then I would like to see stills of how they rigged so I can copy and blow this doll house that my wifes mom has in her house :)

I serisouly felt like I want to throw on a Gozilla Suit and start stomping down some of those houses. :) Kind of like in NERDS the motion picture.

thanks JS33 - Luckly I had an MP3 song of John Mellencamp - Small Town. I heared me, but I could not pass this song up :) The song it self is a big pun :) so I left it.

okay I did some screen grabs.. Everybody knows that Bruce Springstien is the most patriotic person of the 80 nad 90's :) So I guess thanks to his song small town that it made me look at two of my shots and say, I am glad to be an american, I think Pictures #1 and #2 just say USA.

Picture #3 is my favorite shot.

Picture #4 Just pops with the blue and red combo.

After my last shoot..(the one I did not have fun on, due to learnign the sport of skateboarding I decided to just shoot and have fun. I had fun. And although I had a hard time with composition hanging out the side of a Train and having the camera under the train less than an inch off the ground, almost hitting the tracks, a rock and a jaggedly edge sign, I had a blast.

Oh yeah, I used to deliver furniture up in that area all the time when i worked for American Furniture.:)

long drive from utah.

Also with sooo many clouds and some overcast, I am so excited how well the footy came out.

hahah, that is awesome, I thought it was John M. Becasue I had to differnt mpes one saud Bruce and the other said John... so vocally I thought to myself it was Bruce Spring... but I gueess that goes to show I am not big listeners to either of their work:)
