What is with the "Superman is gay" angle

Has Hollywood become highschool all of the sudden?

Where does something like this get it's start.

Can any one shed light?

This is not an anti-gay thread, it's an anti-gossip thread. Well, all threads are gossip, but you get my point.
 
I think its that he wears a red cape perhaps? And always with the perfect hair and whatnot. If he's not gay then he's probably a metrosexual.

I dont think he's gay though.....he couldnt be......he knocked up Lois Lane in superman II.
 
You can look good in a red cape and not be gay. Some one from "Cobra" pulled it off.

He has super hair, which means it's alway on time.

Being serious, it's almost political at this point and I find that kind of crazy.
 
Who in Hollywood is saying Superman is gay? I've heard some rumblings from fans saying that Brandon Routh looks gay to them.
I disagree. I think he looks great in the role.
 
because the whole thing about bryan singer being gay they said alot of the undertones are about clark being different not in jesus was different way but that he has skeletons in the closet and has to hide his "TRUE SELF" anyway can see how it can be a claim but I dunno care. Superman sucks to me anyway. I'm seeing it tomorrow though.

If i see that poster of him hovering over the earth one more time....

That poster and the stupid Adam Sandler Universal Remote posters make me gnash my teeth. And unfortunately many of those ads will be around for months after the movies are long gone.

I loved the poster the first few times i saw it.

But when i see it at least 30 times each way on my subway ride to work...everyday for several weeks.....uggh......i'm surprised more of them haven't been defaced though. That's usually a pretty good indication of how much the younger demographic is looking forward to a movie.

For example, I defy you to find a handful of subway posters for Click that don't have something about Adam Sandler's sexuality scribbled in poor grammar along his forehead.

I love the Superman Returns release poster.
And I'm happy anytime artwork is used over photographs in movie posters.
 
umm has Bryan Singer always been out of the closet? I never heard about him being homosexual until now? how long has this been known, since The Usual Suspect days?
 
there was some stuff about his homosexuality in the x-men flicks too. someone discussed it in another thread pretty recently.

Prob the xmen 3 thread.
