my dvx 100a and the bill for fixing

Ok I got the call today on how much it would cost to fix my camera and so after I cleaned the shi* out of my pants I phoned them to find out what was wrong with it they told me that it was the PCb board and that it would have to be replaced .
I said to them why did it work sometimes and then I would get the lines going across the screen they said it was intermitted. Then I get the bill for the camera in my email and it says that the auto focus alignment has to be replaced.
Does anybody out in dvx land know if these two things are the same and should I have someone else look at it?

hmm....thousand bux eh..... **** man..youre better off selling it off if u can... i wouldnt fix it if its working right now.

Selling it off man I cant do that unless someone can fix it. for much cheaper.
I guess I will pay the fee for them to look at it then I will keep useing it till it no longer will work.

I would check with Spec Comm to see how much they would charge for what they are saying

I didnt get the camera fixed It still works but for me to get my camera back there is a $150 refusal free and the shipping ,total cost $207 , the funny thing is that I talked to 4 different repair places in Canada and they said the same thing "To trouble shoot the camera for a problem like this, it's just not worth the time we just order a new PCB board." So I wonder if they even took it apart.
