New Video: Michael Jordan's Phobia Clinic

I've been gone for a while...but I'm back with a new video! Check it out and post your thoughts!

Okay guys...this is important...IF you like this video - think it's hilarious, etc...I want you guys to email it to as many people as possible. Post it in any forum WHERE APPROPRIATE. Upload it wherever you want!

I also welcome you all to re-edit the piece, remix it, make parodies, etc. DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!! I prefer that you credit LoganLProductions.com in some way, but if you don't - I won't do anything about it...

I want this thing to take over the internet. It already has been downloaded about 20,000 times...but I want that number to grow to 4,000,000! One of my goals is to have Michael Jordan see this video! So have fun with it guys!!

HERE IS A LINK TO DOWNLOAD THE WMV FILE!

Interpret that however you want! It baically means re-edit it. Put new music to it, have the words in the movie say something different, etc. It's just an invitation to editors/filmmakers to have fun with my work without worrying about a lawsuit or anything.

EXAMPLES: You could tape yourself saying something, and then splice in the "Phobia" scenes with people screaming so that it seams like the phobia clinic people are screaming at what you said...for example. Or you could tape yourself interviewing Dr. Michael Jordan and intersperse that with footage from the video...the possibilities are endless, but be creative.

A parody means making fun of it, reinacting it, making a new video that pays hommage, etc. like "Lazy Monday" did for "Lazy Sunday." Rewrite the words, change the wardrobe, poke fun, rip apart, etc.

This is just an invitation - I want people to have fun with it and get their art out there as well as mine. Infact, I will post the best parodies at LoganLProductions.com, which gets about 600 visitors a day. That's probably about the same or less as DVXUSER, but it is a new audience and sometimes my stuff gets linked to and I can have tens of thousands of hits in an hour. Plus I can see what strings I can pull to put the best parodies/remixes on a high traffic site like College Humor or Ebaums or something...

It is on you tube and I submitted it to Ebaums, but it hasn't been posted there yet. Its on the front page of CubeBreak.com today and was also featured on I-Am_Bored.com, CollegeMix.com, and a lot of other sites...

...I personally hate chain letters, so I'm not going to do that - although that would be a great way to get it out...maybe I'll try it next time....I just don't want people to remember my video for being an annoying email.

Do you know what, Logan? This is good! The actors are great. Most amateur actors are terrible, but here, it works. I also liked the gags. Have you spread it on youtube, Google Video and so on?

I liked your music choice and the premise. Was this shot on the HVX, because it looks completely amatuer. Not that it matters due to the fact you are gunning for internet viral video fame, but if you did use the HVX this footage is a sad example of a camera with so much potential. I would work on better lighting and compositions. Everything seemed centered and over exposed. The more professional you make this peice look, the more successful your satire and comedy style will be. Also get a slightly more wide actor age range; all the young highschool/college age kids are fine, but getting an assorted age range will give more credibility and most likely more humor..... (old people are always funny :) ). Best of luck.

I gave the video over exposed/diffused look in post. Partially bacause sometimes uploading to certain video hosts seems to darken everything...but I also wanted to go for that early 90's cheesey infomercial look.

I agree that the age range can be a problem, but in this case I wanted the people who are in it because they really are great actors...I should have probably cast the Doctor older...but I played it myself (I'm trying to beef up my acting reel as well as my director's reel). I feel like it was safe because that's how some infomercials really are...everyone seems to be in their 20s/30s...even though it defies logic.

Those twins (Dylan and Daniel Cox) are seasoned professional actors..."John" and "Tim" are amatures, but I think they have real talent...they're those friends who you always think "You should be a comedian Dude!"
