New (B-stock) HVX won't open (inner) tape door

Just got a B-stock HVX from Omega broadcast.

When I pull the blue tape release button, the outer door unlatches but the inner door does not move to put in a DV tape.

And before anyone says RTFM, on wasn't included, just a manual for the P2 software. :furious3:

Any ideas?

Have you set the camera to DV mode? There's a link on the following URL where you can get a PDF file of the manual.

Yup, confirmed dv mode.

Ah, it helps if you switch the camera from p2 to tape.
