Test with HVX and Brevis35 & 72mm Achromat

Justin...you're gonna wanna kick me...but I can't remember...i was fiddling a lot. At one point I had the lens (sigma 28-70mm 2.8) down to 4 and then the camera at various settings. Oh yeah! I had it open full one time and it was too hot. In sun light you have to stop the lens or the camera down on the Brevis. I actually meant to post the original un-corrected footage. I'll do that tonight. But to sum it up, I am digging the Brevis and my Xenarc monitor setup.

LOL, well I guess he moved up from Newports??? Edge sharpness is great, but i'm going to take it out and play some more. I did'nt touch any of the HVX settings and I kept bumping the focus ring on the HVX as it was a load to shoot hand held.
 
Yeah I think overall it looks pretty good. It did look a bit soft to me. Also there's some strobing in the upper right corner...maybe the ground glass? Maybe you gotta zoom the camera in more?
