mixed 24pn & 24pa footage

Knocked my switch from F5 to F6 accidentally during shoot. Now faced with the question that if 24pNormal footage can be mixed with 24pAdvanced footage in the same 23.987 project.

Say, can I capture all the 24pNormal footage into the bin using the Normal Pulldown Cadence, and then set the pulldown to Advanced Cadence and capture the 24pAdvanced footage into the same bin? Thus, the project and timeline can still be 24p(23.987)?

Am I missing anything here? Or is it doable? Thanks a bunch.
 
Yes, that is how you do it. Just switch the cadence in the Film/24 settings as needed. It makes to difference to the timeline since all the material is 23.976 - the different cadences only refer to how they are stored on tape.
