where are my Film & 24P settings

In order to select my pull-down cadence (advanced or normal), I need to go into Film & 24P settings. I have a project that was captured in 24P Normal. And now I have some 24P Advanced footage to add to the timeline, so I'm about to capture, and I go to my Settings tab in Avid and...there is no Film & 24P settings option to select. It goes right from Export settings to General settings. Is this because I can't change pulldown once a project is created? Just wondering if anyone knows where my Film & 24P options disappeared to. Maybe they're within another settings category, but I can't find them nowhere no how.

The only reason that I know of to lose those settings options is if you're not in a 23.976, 24p, or matchback project.

Click on your Format tab (two over from Settings) and make sure it still says "23.976" and not some flavor of HD.

Aha! You're right again Krestofre. It's NOT a 23.976 project. It's a regular ol' 29.97 timeline. I didn't realize that the Film setting wasn't an option on that timeline. But now that you point it out...I guess there's no need for pulldown in a 29.97 timeline because I wouldn't be returning the footage to progressive.

Glad you're still willing to lend a hand! Much appreciated. ;-)
