Dunlop Spec Commercial, Fx1e with 35mm adapter

Excelent work. I've been following Nicks' work for sometime. I remember the "first" short he made called The Ridle, shot with an XL1 and a homemade 35mm adapter. This kids' got talent. On a different matter, when will he start selling those cool adapters of his?!

great work. I took a look at the rest of the pixeloft site. Is any of the other work shot with the fx1 also?

Best I've seen from the FX1. Where is this from - England, Australia, here (US)?

Anybody have any idea about his post process? What he used to de-interlace and color correct? I'd like more information.

does anyone know how he made the "sky my tv" commercial, what kind of software is this, and how much experience is needed to pull off something like that?

also does anyone know the name of the song in that commercial?

thanks

This is what Nick sent me to tell you guys.

Thanks for the positive comments Guys,

To answer your questions.

Rawfa: I dont have any plans to release a commercial version of my adapter at the moment.

Kezza: I used some carefull lighting and composition, and even more careful colour correction.

Deedive: Yep, I shot the 3lflex Music video and the Akala Music Video with the FX1... Rest was shot with an XL1

Futureman: I made that spot at uni, using 3d studio max. Was the first project i did in 3d, and had a good months practice before doing it. I have forgotton the name of the song in that commercial... sorry. If i can remember I will let you know.

Thanks again guys. Makes it all worth while, to hear that the works is liked.

Nick
