im feeling that "morning look" brandon....

Whic lighting set up did you settle on? The blue interior? or the golden exterior light?

[Brandon Rice]

the golden interior... the first shot is supposed to be night

[Drew Ott]

Lookin' good.

Can't tell its night though in the first shot. Maybe a little blue.

[Beat Takeshi]

that kids face shot looks really smooth!!! Great job on the lighting there.

[Slimothy]

I like the second one.

I see barry green's book and dvd.

[spencer]

Wait, the kid made the film? Did he pay you to help him make it?

[Brandon Rice]

I see barry green's book and dvd.

You got it!!

[Brandon Rice]

Wait, the kid made the film? Did he pay you to help him make it?

No..no... its a film for kids

[Larry Rutledge]

I agree, that first shot needs the "hollywood blue" to make it look like a nice night interior.

This was a Vegas example, but I think you can get an idea of the look from it: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showpost.php?p=489489&postcount=65

[Brandon Rice]

Here's a new look for the night scene... I gave it a more yellow look as the light is from an interior source.

[Haakon]

No..no... its a film for kids

But only short kids, right?

[Larry Rutledge]

Yea, I like that better...you're right the lighting is practical motivated, not moon motivated. The golden look fits here well.

looking good, its very seldom we see a full screen 4:3 grab these days. Everyone normally going adapter or cropping to scope. I tend to forget how great standard 4:3 looks from the dvx.

[Brandon Rice]

Yeah... its for kids, so we're going 4:3 here.
