hahaha... yeah, i think having a hick always adds value to the story.

i didn't quite get what it was about either, wasn't sure if the main character was hallucinating or what, but i like the way it looks... shots look great, i think you mentioned somewhere in the thread that you used mostly available light which is pretty incredible... also, i like the behind the scenes stuff... keep us posted on the release!

The doorway dolly we used was a rough p.o.s. When you locked it to do a straight run it would randomly curve off. Nothing horrible but a little peeve. Guess we were running it ok though.

A release date is unknown at the moment. What I will definitely do is update you guys on festivals it will be showing at. We are planning to hit as many of the major horror fests as possible.

The film is currently headed to film festivals in October. After that we'll have a better idea of when the DVD will be released. I'll definitely post updates in this thread as they come along.

I'm still suprised no one has had a problem with the fawn being dragged about in the third clip. :shocked:

Finally corrected the trailer so that ugly white mspaint looking logo is gone. The new one is what will show up in the final movie.

Wow, suprised this thread still exists.
Just some updates on the feature film Summer School:
It's playing Thursday, October 5th @ 5:20pm [Avalon Hotel Expo] at the Eerie Horror Festival in Pennsylvania.
Also it has been nominated for best feature award. That's pretty flattering I must say. :thumbup:

As this has been a dormant thread for so long here's a negative:
The DVX100A we shot the feature on was stolen on Sept. 16 and has yet to be recovered :(

Anyway, resurrecting an old thread I'll post any other festival info here as to not piss of the mods and make multiple threads.
