Screen Grabs - Music Video

Two screen grabs from a music video I am working on. These are direct grabs from footage. I did not do photoshop.corection work of any kind. I am pretty shocked myself by the low noise. The artist wants to keep the video on lock down until July.

His position, the bench, his street clothes, and the black (instead of white) background reminds me of like a polar opposite of that reggie bush subway commercial also shot on the HVX.

Hey spencer, good observations..I didn't even think of the Reggie Bush correlation. His positioning was a result of not being able to get the lighting ANY higher hehe. He is a tall fella, so the ONLY way we could get his face lit was to have him sit in that position.

I see that you are from San Diego too. We did this on top of a park bench in Colina Park. It was one of the few parks where we could light up the bench with our cars (we drove our cars up on the hill). The lighting is coming from two cars -BMW and Mercedes- high beams and headlights. What I learned? The Mercedes clk 500 has some mean high beams, my BMW didn't light up a damn thing..it just lit up his legs. Once my friend switched his Mercedes High Beams..everything lit up. He definitely saved the shoot for me.
 
Y'know? I have always thought about lighting a scene with vehicle lights... it's a lot less noticable that way. LoL.

Vehicle 3 point lighting.. Mercedes for the key.. Hyndai for some fill.. Kicker with a mini... and some arrogance with the hummer.


I have been saved many a time with some well positioned car lights.... unless I have an inverter for the battery... Then I'd rather bring in an arri kit...



So when do we get to see some footie?
