Who has best price on AY DVM63AMQ tapes? HAs in stock?

I get mine from B&H. The more you buy, the cheaper they become, like $4.50 each if you buy 10.

I got a couple boxes from AVS but not only did I have to pay CAL Tax (and I don't live in Cal) but they ship it UPS which ended up costing me almost double for the tapes. I think they were around $5.00 ea but after shipping it cost me about $9.00 ea. If they sent it regular mail then it would have only been a few dollars added onto the grand total of the tapes. Hmmmmm what is up with those clowns?

TapeStockOnline seems to have the best price now at 6.50each when you buy 10 or more. This still seems expensive anyone know of a better price?

What was wrong with the AY-DVM63MQ? I have been using them for years and REALLY like them. I've been getting them for $4 each through Amazon.
Discontinued? DRAT! I think I'll buy 500 while they are still around.

What professional editor edits from tape anyway? I shoot the tape, capture it to FCP once, and then put it in the closet in a sealed box where it is supposed to last 7 years. I think Panasonic said, "Gee, these tapes have gotten so popular that the price is going down. What kind of gimic can we come up with to get the price back up?"

I've used National Tape Company for MQ's and paid $4.50 for them (qty 10). They still have MQ's listed on their site.

I just ordered 5 from Amazon for 28 bucks shipped. Couldn't believe that B&H doesn't have them, although they do have 83min. MQ's. I've always wondered if the AMQ tapes are any more abrasive since they are more robust.
