So I posted these in another thread but it was kind of old.
I've been asked to show uncompressed footage, low light, indoor... lots of different scenarios with this adapter. These two short videos have both indoor and outdoor footage. There are untouched straight of the camera. There's the uncompressed versions which are big boys (220mb each) and then compressed versions for us who like to cruise around this forum to watch fun stuff.

If you download the uncompressed files right click and download. Once they're downloaded you're probably going to have to rename them with a ".mov"

All this stuff has handheld with no rail support system, 24pa, and mostly auto iris and white balance. I used a Canon 50mm 1:1.8 lens.
So yeah, enjoy and let me know what you think...
 
I just tested my unit again inside with my DVX100 and low light. It lost approx 4.4 stops...
 
How did you measure 4.4 stops? Stops aren't linear, remember...

Then again, the beta G35 loses nearly that much.
 
How should I measure it... ?
I set the camera there without the adapter with the auto iris on, then I put the adapter on and see the difference between the numbers...
same light, same subject.
 
Ok, so I'm not sure how to measure stops i guess... but here's some stills with the adapter on and off... no lighting, just afternoon in my apartment. The camera was set to Auto White Balance and Auto Iris

yeah, that's not 4 stops, I'd say Queyn pretty on the money with his 1.5 stops. I have the Letus35A non flip and love it, and I think it loses a little less than a stop, but I havn't measured it, nor really had the need to. I have to say though, your camera defenitly is not Jewish :)
 
Oh wait, wow, didin't notice you changed the aperature, well, in that case it does look like you are losing quite a bit of light. And your shooting wide open with the lens?
