HVX200-avail & best price I've seen anywhere

Hi All,

I just purchased a brand spankin new hvx200 for LESS THAN $5100. Read that again! No sh*&t.

I also got a P2 store for $1400 and some 4 GIG cards for 520/each.

I got it from Audio Video Supply, Inc. in San Diego, CA.

Not only was the price incredible but the salesman went as far as hand delivering it to me in LA, the SAME DAY I purchased it. Now that's service folks.

I will definitely buy from them again.
 
You may be telling the truth I just checked them with Panasonics site and they are listed as authorised dealers, though on their web page the HVX 200 is not listed as a camera they sell. Also are they chinese? the question comes from the characters on their website.
 
Full Compass is a great company and is also less than $5100 for the camera. They are in the midwest (Middleton, WI) and I have dealt with them for years and cannot be happier with them. My camera will be delivered June 9th!

If you do a search on this board you will see that some of us bought from AVS months ago with no problems and for a better price than you're seeing now. A great place.

Even 5100 dollars is alot to gamble on a company that is not very well known. I hope all goes well doccutter keep us posted.
 
I got confirmation from Jan Crittenden from Panasonic. AVS is an authorized dealer so is Full Compass. I just ordered mine from Full Compass they have some coming in at the end of this week. AVS isn't getting any more untill the end of July. I should have mine the first part of next week.
In case anyone is wondering if a dealer is an authorized one or not; find the cam on Pannys site, once there click find a dealer then type in the zip code of the dealer and voila, you will get a list of all the dealers in in that zip code along with their address and phone numbers. If the dealers name isn't there STAY AWAY.
 
Ordered from Full Compass last month... camera should arrive this week. $5,277 was the best they could do for me...but I'm not complaining.
 
I'm not trying to thread hijack but I have a slightly used HVX package for sale over in the classified section. Only 4 hours record on the P2 cards and around 4 on the heads. Bought from Spec-comm in February. Check it out if anyone needs one in a hurry cause I have to sell this bad boy to clear up credit to get my new home loan approved.

I couldn't wait any longer paid 5855 w/ overnight shipping and one 4gig p2. P2 price has dropped again I only paid 514 for mine.
 
Digital Liquidators are likely selling a gray market product and will likely add in a bunch of toher things that you cannot use, wrong filters and such to get the price point up. Would not go there.

I worked with Barb, @AVS http://www.avsupply.com She is great and very knowledgable. They cater to the professional and have been in business for over 35 years. They couldn't have been more helpful or fair with me. Good people to do business with!!

Ill update here even if no one cares :(

But i just got mine today from Snader & Associates, and Joe was a great help, dealing with my friend and I's (is that correct grammar? LOL) 10 phone calls a day and my shoddy bank not releasing the money from my card.

All was worked out with him and Joe was a lot of help. We also got the camera at a GREAT PRICE! Unfortunatly taxes came into play and taxes were around 500 bucks, but that wasnt a big deal since anywhere else i would have bought it online would have been almost as much after overnight shipping.

Im in South San Francisco and my friend who also helped pay for the camera was able to pick it up the same day we paid. Joe put our names on it and he was in and out in 10 minutes!

Totally recommend Snader & Associates....unless its broken, then im going up there myself and goin postal! J/K

Thanks alot, and cant wait to join the community of people with footage of it when i get out of the office today at 5!
