Attention New Zealand members

Panasonic New Zealand is sponsoring a series of HVX202 seminars, where they've invited me to NZ to hold training sessions for HVX owners (and prospective HVX owners).

This is the schedule:

June 29, 2006 - Auckland #1 (two dates in Auckland)
June 30 - Auckland #2
July 4 - Wellington
July 6 - Wanaka

If you'd like to attend, contact Peter Fullerton or Rick Haywood at Panasonic NZ, at (09) 272 0100, or e-mail to pete.fullertonATnz.panasonic.com, or rick.haywoodATnz.panasonic.com (obviously, replace "AT" with "@")

Space is limited, and the seminar fee is $300 NZD, which includes a free copy of The HVX Book. And, you get free admission if you bought an HVX202 through an authorized NZ dealer.

I hope to meet many of you New Zealand members, and seeing your country's magnificent scenery, while experiencing the dead of winter in July, is something to look forward to (especially for a guy from Vegas, where it's 110 degrees right now!) :)

Bring your thermals, Barry - you're going to need 'em.
Been some BIIG frosts where I am. Near Wellington.

cheers, see you in July.
Looking forward to it !!!

Hi Barry,

What a pity: I'm in Australia now...
There is a small chance I could be in Wellington July 4th, but it is not looking probable.

I bought the HVX from Peter Fullerton (I was the first NZ sale of the camera) at the end of January: an NTSC model shipped in from Japan. He was extremely helpful, as were the rest of the Panasonic folks I met.

Enjoy New Zealand! This is the best corner of the world, hands down. Once you find out for yourself, sshhhh... try to keep the secret!

Hey Barry,

I was stoked to hear from panny that you are coming over here. Looking forward to meeting you in Wanaka. Make sure you have your camera ready for the view from Treble Cone car park. Id wager there isn't a better view anywhere on the planet.

Barry: Congrats on being invited to NZ. The people are wonderfull and you gonna enjoy it. My wife and I went on a 3 week tour over 5 years ago and, we almost pulled up roots and moved there. I remember shooting with a PD150 and had a problem with a belt battery. I took it to an electroric store and it had blown fuse, and the guy did not have a fuse and sordered it so I could keep on shooting.
Saved me buttus
Have a Wonderful Trip

Barry, once your know your schedule, if you do find you have time and want a less formal get together with Auckland DVXUser members at a pub over a beer, where you don't just have HVX202 questions firing at you left right and centre, let me know and I'll try and organise it. Don't wanna hassle you too much as I know you're probably busy as hell and it's a whirlwind tour so I'll leave it to you.

Cheers
Aaron
