well, got my first camera... DVX-100BE couple days ago. waiting a while to get it delivered to South Africa.

Been reading tons of threads before i chose the DVX and it was all of u that sold me the right avice. I'm so happy! i'm only 22 and saved up money for a long time to persue my intrest in film. THANKS!!!
anyway, i shot my first 'nothing' just to see the quality... there is a cold tint on it.... (dodgy with the CC at the moment... *achem*) I know it aint much to crit, but what u think for a first pick-up? comments? advice? fashion tip? :)

Wow, you really undersold yourself. That was very, very nice. I got my DVX last week, and I'm so nervous about what to shoot, I haven't shot anything yet!
 
i actually couldnt wait, and just shot myself in the garden, even the light was dying outside... it was 5pm! i just had to shoot something!
