Which telephoto lens to extend 10x?

It is a mild disappointment to have to revert to a 10x zoom lens on the AG-DVX100B from Panasonics prosumer camcorder, the PV-GS400 which was 12x.

Is there an add-on lens available that doesn't cost $1000 or more?

Thanks, Guys.

The Century Optics 1.6 tele-extender is the only one to consider. It's under $1000; I believe someone on this board just offered one for sale too.
