Romeo & Juliet - The Noir

Right so, 1 week prep and 3 days shoot to 'can' a student production, working titled 'Romeo & Juliet - the Noir'. We mustered a crew and spread the budget as far as we could take it. The 18 hour days were arrrghhh, but the docks that hosted 80% of the shoot were awsome. 5th form students - not actors - played out 3 scenes form Shakespeare's R&J in Noir style, 1930 gangster outfits and all . . . the shoot has a small Ukrainien Making Of site, as our making of man was Ukranien and very enthusiastic. I get a kick out of seeing elaborate films sets and then a picture with the little dvx filming a movie. Good stuff though. Looks neat.
