The NYC DVXUser Group is back. We will be holding a special meeting to premiere HeroFest films on Sunday, June 4 (2-5pm) at B&H. We will be in the same place as last time so come on down and watch some of the finest films that will be entered into the competition. Email notifications will be sent out for the meeting with directions for the firsttimers and the forgetful veterans. Please respond to this thread and let us know if you plan to attend and if you'll be bringing something to show (Non-Hero films/clips are also welcomed). Thanks.

Nice! I'm there Ryan, can't wait to see some of the Herofest stuff, unfortunately I don't have an Entry, but I should have a Trailer for my current film. See you all then, so I guess there won't be a May meeting right or is the June meeting the May meeting? Then when is the June Meeting... I'll just shut up now.

I will see if I can get you a copy Ryan. If Alex goes i will swing a copy by him when we meet for lunch again.

Yup, I will be there and I will have my HeroFest short as well as Aram's. Plus maybe we'll screen a bootleg copy of X3.:)

Nevermind regarding the bootleg of X3. It's not worth it. Maybe we can get a screener of Superman!

I'm gonna be there shooting on Saturday. Have you been there before? I'm not really sure what to expect. I'll keep an eye out for ya.

Hope to make it but not sure if I can... Wrapped with some family business in PA, hope to get back on time.

Hey, Alex, I'l be there with mine and Aram's entry. But I may need you to burn the DVD for me... I'll PM you.

Hey Guys:

I won't be able to make it today either. Ryan I never got an email, please add me to the list.

Hi Ryan,
Please add me to the list. I will be there on June 4 as a first timer. But I am not aware of exact location.

Thanks to everyone who came to the meeting. We had a great time and saw some really kick-ass films. Can't wait to see everyone for the 35mm Adapter Shootout in July.

Hi New York folks,

This is actually Megan, J. Dan’s girlfriend – just wanted to let you know that tomorrow night we’re having a little get together that is part celebration for Bone Hand’s win and partly a small birthday get-together for me. Here are the details:

Saturday, June 17
10:30 PM (approximately – J. Dan is running sound board for a show in Chelsea but we should be there by 10:30 PM)
@ the Hop Devil Grill, 129 St Marks Place at Avenue A (6 to Astor Place; N, R, W to 8th Street)

Hope you can make it!

Megan
