Untitled Short shot on FX-1

The beginning took way too long. I kept watching just to see if anything would happen. It didn't. Like you said, I know it's not too serious, but the main thing it made me think is..............Man, I'm glad I got a DVX.
 
There's just something horribly wrong about seeing 2 guys on the ground eating 1 sandwich with both hands...and I didn't even watch all of it...

I'm just curious how Slimothy figures out how happy he is for having a DVX by watching this.

Why even cruise this area of the boards if you're down on the other cameras then Slimothy?
 
Sorry if it sounded like I'm down on other cameras. I would like the FX1 for certain things, I just don't do those types of things very often. When I watched the video, the picture just made me glad I have the DVX. I also troll the RED camera topic-although I don't have $17,000.

I feel like maybe I should have held out and bought either the P2 by Panny or that JVC that shoots 24P sometimes.

I did buy the FX1, though, and I love the images I get with it. I'm shooting a documentary on it (just started last week) and I think it will be just fine for impromptu interviews and b-roll footage for the piece.

But there are things other people have done to their FX1 footage that can make it look 10 times better than this. I wouldn't give up on the FX1 as a narrative camera yet.

Yea, I know. I've seen great results from this camera. Let's not hijack this thread any longer. Forget I ever said anything about it. The dude is looking for feedback not an argument on cameras.
