I like to get some advice for a new card. The thing i want is a nice card for outputing from combustion, premiere and shake to an "referens" monitor with true colorspace for color correcting. I'm thinking of getting an "AJA XENA LH" card and the cineforms "aspect hd".
I know "aspect hd" is 8 bit so "AJA" maby is an overkill, but cineform "prospect hd" is out of my budget. And i could still capture from the "AJA" card and get 10bit uncopressed hd if i would need some extra quality for chroma-keying. Im using pc and is a PAL user. I also would like to get some advice of low price hd monitor for the colorcorrecting.
So is there any price worth card/systems/monitors/Hd TV's that anyone can recomend? Cause it seems like the most users use "final cut" and i don't se so many using an referens monitor for, combustion or shake. If some body here use the "AJA" or other card with combustion or shake please tell us about it how it works, and if you want to recomend it.
And for the guys thats using cineform. Is converting mfx to cineform timeconsuming?
