What do you think, will be best shutter speed for shooting action (actor runing in a forrest, the DVX 100 on dolly)? I want no flicker, smooth motion, and of course film look:)

Will be better, to stay on autoshutter, or should i change it to faster or slower?

Thank you. (excuse my English)

be default is 50
but for certain situation under low light
i prefer 25, slower shutter speed.
brighter...but harder and slower for acuto focus.
hence you need to understand how to use
a manual camera to the max.

for e.g. when we shooting wedding and events in Singapore.
people are not used to video lighting on all the time.
hence its better to use low shutter speed with manaul focusing
as for dvx default setting will be f4 scene selection.

other feature to help u
will be gain. for gain 18
u can set it on your preset user button.
this will help you to be more responsive.

weather might be another issue.
depend on where u are shooting.
