Hi friends! Here is a video I shot with my friends few years ago. It's a thriller with a twist at the end(bla, bla, bla) Please watch it, rate it and help me get the video to other people, I have a family and my children need to eat....

The movie won second place at the Utah multimedia festival and best cinematography at the UVSC film fest. Everything was natural lighting, no filters, little CC. BTW because of Youtube's crappy compression the video doesn't lookie too goodie at the begining. Sorry.

Thanks to my dear friend Tom laughlin for helping me on this flick, we both directed and acted in this movie. Check Tom's WWII award winner short film "Sudilkov" on this website, shot with the dvx . I did the cinematography .

I thought the vid was great, it kept my attention throughout and that sometimes is hard to do

good job on the grass scene at the end I assume it was on a skateboard or the like

Hey i loved it. I couldnt really tell cause of the quality of YouTube, but did you shoot in 24p? and with the lighting in the woods scenes, was it all just natural? any filters? flags? It looked great.

hi friends! So what do you guys think about my acting huh? good enough? I was the brazilian guy and yes I was speaking Portuguese and I was one of the directors too.

Yes everything was shot in 24p. I did a little CC for the interior shots using FCP and MB. The original footage looks incredible. Everything was natural and available lighting. No flags. We shot the whole thing in one day. The grass scene was hand held, was Bryce's idea, he is and amazing editor and artist. My friend Tom is also a very talented guy, he co directed the flick with me. the movie was edited in Vegas.
We shot the exteriors at a place near Sundance.

Make sure you rate the movie after you see it, pleaseeeeeee!:)

Any other Qs?

Thanks for all your comments:)

Very cool!!

That was shot on a DVX-100A, correct?

that was back in 2004 so I can't remember if the A was already out. I think that was the normal DVx.

Don't want to ruin the ending for those who want to watch it but uh I kinda thought it was weak. The outside stuff looked great. It's very well shot and I was really engadged up until the end. It let me down.

yeah, if that was your first its cool. well done!
my 2.5 cents is: starts off really nicely. kept me involved. had my attention.
got bored with the camera movement and same angles in the 'signing of contract' scene... really long scene...
your acting was great, your friend... nah
i like the grass shot to the dead body- very different u got creative, and it worked. original, but u should have done the same in the 'signing contract' scene... bit boring.

Watched it thru tho' so well done

i really didn't like it in the office scene when you cut from a moving shot of one guy to a static shot of the other. just a little movement on the second shot would have h elped a lot.
