Living Downtown - HVX + G35

Within the first ten seconds I settled in to watch with interest and forgot all thoughts of noise or abberation... so great job!

So no filming permits eh? How did you get the street shot? just a quick run and gun set up, before you got yelled at??? That was one of my favorite scenes.

The street we were on is kind of a dead-end street. People do drive through there but not frequently (it's almost like an alley) We set up so the scene looks back at a busy intersection which really helped sell the illusion.

How's Gresham these days? I love Oregon.

Well done- that was a great location, as it did look busier then it actually was ...

Gresham is plugging right along- there has been a lot of development in the last couple of years, which has been nice, since a lot of places have received a face lift. PM me when your in town and we'll hook up for coffee.

Until then, keep up the good work.
 
Great commercial. One of the best I've seen in a long while. Good thing you pumped some life back into the G35. Alot of people were beginning to see it as a dirty hoax. Not that we can blame them...
 
That was really amazing man! You know what i want to see, some with and without shots of g35... anyone know someone that has that? So i can see how much of a difference it makes on the footage?

Watch it again. The shot of the guy brushing his teeth is sans adapter. Also the crane down to the table, and the last shot from above were shot with the stock lens (no adapter)

Really nice piece. Client must have been really happy as it looks so pro.. so clean.. and ultimately very expensive looking.

I've been waiting for this adapter to come out.. but what the friggin' hell. Do they want everyone who bought the HVX to go with the redrock or something else.. cause it certainly has been so prolonged... What's their roll out date? December 2008? geeze...

I love the look of this adapter and like that it doesn't require rods... or does it? But come on... talk about being an adapter tease... even worse than waiting for my HVX to arrive!
 
You guys are missing out on Jobs. Get a M2, get a Go35, get a Sgpro, get a saranwrap35 etc... pick one, make money NOW. when the G35 comes out, if its as greatas everyone thinks it is, buy it as wel . But dont miss out on Jobs waiting for the other shoe to drop, you know. thats silly. I think the G35 puts out a good image, but i am getting hired because of my 35 adapter right now.

im justsaying dont miss out on work. you guys. have a tool even if its not "the tool".

Great job by the way. that video was Awesome. I love the hammock guy.

I don't think it's about marketshare for Cinemek. It's about releasing the best possible product even if takes longer than we'd like.

Had to watch twice. Is this Redding? Never been there. Looks like a nice town.

Met some nice folks from there while visiting Shasta once...
