Orlando Florida-- Need for HVX owner/operators

Greetings all.

Didn't see a forum for the listing of HVX jobs.. so I figured I'd post it here and it would get moved if necessary. I'm trying to crew up a couple of HVX jobs here in Orlando. One as soon as the 26th where I'd need to get 3 more owner/operators to shoot a concert at House of Blues. Shoot would be nice and short... probably 2 hours on location and the pay is pretty decent. I also have a more extensive and really good paying job in July where I would need 6 more HVX cameras and opperators. I'd like to avoid going the rental route as I'd still have to find experienced operators which would be a chore as well. Feel free to list on this thread or send me a PM.

Both jobs are still a bit up in the air, but from decent clients I've worked for in the past. I'd also really love to network with other Orlando HVX people and I'm totally willing and able to work with others and assist as much as I can. I think its really starting to bring in the clients and I'm hoping to hire as many local people as possible....

Both events are concerts and should be a good time. I'll be renting some P2 cards for the July event.. and taking care of the offloading stations. A person with a couple of P2 cards, p2store, firestore or the like is preferred but not essential as I will be renting a lot of stuff or could beg/borrrow as necessary.

Thanks again.

Justyn,
Of course you know Jethro, we have a user in Gainsville and one in Naples?? If you find anymore good ones send them on over.

I certainly will Mike. Shoot the one in July has enough of a budget.... ya might have to take a trip down here..

I do really want to be a part of this growing and expanding group.. I think that the gigs will come and this camera will be working hardcore.

jethro just worked on a samsung HD monitor commercial with NFL players and they shot the main camera work with the cinealta.. but they had 4 HVX cameras running around shooting B-Roll.. and Jethro thinks that side by side.. he prefers the HVX under most situations... I would like to do my own experimenting.. but I know that it holds its own against the varicam... Really incredible for what it cost comparatively...

How's the site going? Any big sales? developments?

Hello Justyn,
July in FLA?? Could be interesting, call if you need me.
The site is expanding & growing daily. We have another 100 clips that will go up next week. Please everyone...no more driving timelapse's unless you are driving down 5th Ave or Rodeo Drive.
We are also receiving 1920x1080 animations. Customers are coming to the site and browsing around. Somebody wanted close-up action of tennis players. Bob Gundu has a tennis player but the client wanted extreme C/U racket hitting balls, feet, bodies in motion.
(hint, hint)
