HVX on the Motocross Track - 60p Slo-mo

Poo pooing awesome, What an AMAZING little camera! That really captured riding motocross, its almost like riding a bull yet is so graceful at 60fps.... Beautiful!
 
The red pops but doesn´t bleed - fantastic!
Great footage and editing!
What do you edit with? Any CC or postwork on that clip?

Beautiful footage and nice edits. Was wondering how you did that cut on vehicle #9 where you went from wide to close up during the turn (2/3 way into the clip) Did you have two similar shots at different times, or since it's not at full size, did you use internal scale? Really awesome. Thanks for the settings too.
 
This was cut on FCP. I did CC all the footage. I just warmed it up a little, crushed the blacks a tiny bit, and brought up the mids and highs. I also added a gradient type of vignette, just a circular gradient composited with the soft light mode.

I used to be jealous of all the guys who had the bank to shoot moto videos on 16mm, but no more...

I shot that corner twice, once wide and once tight, He just happened to hit it the same both times. So I was able to cut on it. Just one of those nice little editing coincidences. =)
 
SWEETTT I used to ride motorcross (two wheels not quads) takes me back. I am now 100% sold on this cam, keep up the good shooting.
 
God damn! You took such simple footage and just made it EPIC. Shooting in 60 frames/sec for slo-mo is lookin sexy. I want an HVX200!!! AHHHHH!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA half way through this clip, I actually had to pause it because I was so blown away. I started yelling and my brother came in thinking I was hurt or something!

Key framed the gamma correction filter in final cut, It looks more like a film burn than just using brightness.

I work for an ATV show on the Outdoor Channel. This was mainly for testing, I think we are gonna do our intro and some of our race coverage using 60p next season.

Cool. Yeah i know alot about the atv industry, my bro backflips those damn atv's and we came out with a quad dvd "the fallout" last fall...thats why i was stoked to see your footage!
