Oahu, Hawaii - HVX Users!? Need HVX's For Shoot!

Attention all Honolulu, Hawaii HVX Users!! Just wanted to know if there was anyone else here in hawaii that has an hvx!? i have a project that im working on and i am in desperate need of a couple more hvx's... i have 2 already... but an upcoming shoot requires 4...

also, id like to connect with the HVX users out here in hawaii who are currently shooting with the HVX and using P2. We're going through the process now, and will be broadcasting our new shows shot with the HVX, and im not aware of anyone else out here that is...

if there's anyone out there! hollar at me! :)

I'm your huckelberry. Willing to go to HI for a shoot... pick your number of days.. then let me have a couple of days surfing... drinking on the beach... and ahhh...

haha.. im sure ill be getting crap loads of posts from people with hvx's who want to come to hawaii... lol...

i need hvx owners FROM hawaii for this one! :)
 
Can't hurt the bros for trying.. but seriously.. If you have an extended shoot... hook a bro up. I have a good friend who lives there that I havent' seen in forever and I need to surf there before I'm too old and too fat to try it...


I said the same thing to a couple from Iceland who want to shoot a music video... they want to do it here in FL, and I told them if they do it in ICeland in the summer.. it would be free just have to get me over.. possibly the wife and let us smooze around for a bit and take it all in... ahhh

I have a similar reaction from people about coming to Florida.. especially during January and March when it's cold up in my homestate of NH... brrrrrr

I have an HVX and am on Maui. I have been shooting P2 since I got my camera in Mid Jan. Love the thing! When are you doing your shooting? I had to come back to the mainland for a bit but should be back on Maui within month. Don't know if that fits into your time schedule?

No worries. Good luck with your shoot though, hope all goes well. I did hear that there was a guy on the big island with a HVX but for maui or Oahu,nobody that I know of. Take it easy.

I have a HVX and live in Oahu and just got a custom underwater housing, however I will be out of town starting next week. I know of another DP who lives on Oahu that has an HVX, but he is usually very busy like me. PM me and we can talk. and I can give you his email.

thanks for all of your replies! we'll probably be shooting next week sometime. i will find out the exact date tomorrow. our tv show is a health and fitness tv show, pretty straight forward stuff... pans, closeups, 2 pops and a master. workout routines. 1 dolly, 1 crane, 1 master and 1 closeup/b-roll.

I'm from NYC and have the HVX and p2 cards with a p2 store.. I'll fly myself in if you guys pay a decent day rate..
