Not quite sure what you are asking here but, you can shoot ANY format on any P2 card. You can shoot one clip at 1080/24P, one clip at 720/30P, and one clip at 720/24Pn all on the same card. I might have several different video resolutions/frame rates on one P2 card before I switch to the next card. I hope this helps, clear up your question.Kholi said:I have three 4gig cards--
Could I capture 720p/60p on one and 720p/24pn on another? Using the third card to swap between the two specific ones?
What if I want to shoot 1080p/24p? Am I seeing conflicts with this setup?

720/60 can mix with 720/24 only if you advance pulldown the 60 footage, but than you might as well shoot 24pn to start. 1080 can be downresed, but why bother. plus unless you have FCP 5.1 you wont have support for 1080.
I would honestly stick to one setting. 720/24PN has worked great for me. Space saving and VFR control.
Unless you want to run some test to see what you like, but I wouldnt go into a project and shoot multiple recording settings. Sounds like trouble.

Never slow anything down in post. That's an old, outdated, obsolete technique that we never have to put up with again. Just like "de-interlacing" -- it's over. Forget about it.Boomerang said:I think you will get a cleaner slo mo shooting 24PN VFR 60. Than shooting 720 regular and slowing it down in post.
