Unseen New York

Just have one criticism. The Gowanus Canal SHOULD remain unseen. :)

WHAT? The gowanus is the hidden jewel of brooklyn man.... nowhere else in the city is as untouched as that area. you wanna see oldschool brooklyn, go to red hook near the canal before it becomes even more gentrified.

Bring a .45.....

GOLDEN GATE was great, that has to be some of the sharpest and most detailed HVX images I have seen so far. I was beginning to think the camera couldn’t deliver that kind of work. Thank you.
I really liked the shot as people were coming down the stairway.
You have a good eye and fertile imagination.

Kind regards

That was really nice; totally worth my download.

A minor observation would be to go back and check your Black IRE thoughout as most of your shots appear to have the perfect black, but some appear to ask for a crush to wipe away the ghostly viel (See the water droplets for example)

Other than that; I second what everyone else has said; bravo !

I really like the fast motion scene towards the end with the vignetting, awesome color and composistion. Nice work

Nice work, Gil.

It flowed naturally with ease and comfort.

Back to a few questions asked earlier:

- What was the music?
- Any wisdom on how you got excellent focus?

Also, great demo reel you have there. Where do you get your music from?

Thanks and great work!

Very, Very nice man! You definetly got "the feel"- I don't know how to explain this, but is something few people can do with Video and Music...

You can really communicate with your tools - now just put it to work in a short! I would be very interested in seeing the results!

One of the most " poetic" clips I've seen on this forum. Keep it up!

Music is from John Vanderslice.

Focus = Zooming in + Using Focus Assist + Knowing a little about the relationship between Depth of Field, Aperture and Lens Size.

As others have noted- Well done. Depending on the requirements, I bet you might even be able to see some of that footage to stock footage houses ....

Great composition.
