the best pet filming is usually when you get camera shots at eye level, where the camera is about 1 inch off the floor, and dont be afraid to get sloe up, like 4 to 5 inches away...makes for the best shots

plus, the lense is deep within the camera and hood mount, they wont scratch it.

cool thanks for the tip. This was impromptu however. I was shooting an audition and the cats and dogs just started goin at it. I cut it to look like the cat started the whole thing but it was actually the dog.
