HVX and G35 for health insurance DVD

Beautiful.
May I ask you how did you encoded to h264? Simply Compressor in fcp?
Thanks

Yep. Just used one of the presets in compressor. For some reason it stretched the text out a bit. Not sure why.

Elrosten, this might be a stupid question but--

What happens if you use the actual Quicktime Pro program to compress over the FCP compressor?

Any difference?

Now this is some of the best footage I've seen from the HVX. Man, like the post said before, this adapter produces some pleasing footage. This looks so damn good. Looked much more "expensive" and that's what we are all interested in pulling off.

Congrats on something that looks so good already. When you get the text dialed in.. the client should be so happy... Thanks for sharing.

Besides the caselites what did you use? I shot today with an arri kit and I NEVER want to use hot lights again. Sucks for everyone.. so FLO M0-jO will be in order from now on...

I agree. Its beautiful. Two things I noticed were edge sharpness and gamma. Did you find shooting with the G35 that it altered the contrast of the image? I'm curious whether Cine-V and Cine-D resulted in darkened images and what gamma you used. How did you handle exposure given the three controls (gamma setting, HVX iris, and 35mm lens f/stop) ?
