Got 'Em

Got 'Em

Okay, it's my first time posting here but I'm such a tragic Euro-geek.

1.) THE PASSENGER

2.) LA DOLCE VITA

3.) DANGER: DIABOLIK

Never noticed this thread before but looks like fun! Thanks for posting the photos!

Sincerely,

Scooter McCrae

Speaking of three films from three directors...one of which being Antonioni, have you seen Eros? Personally, I think Soderbergh's segment is best (Downey Jr.'s best performance in years), but I found Antonioni's pretty irritating. Does that make me a typical American movie idiot if I can't stand the painfully deliberate pacing and sparse dialogue? I mean, I love naked chicks, but it just seemed so..."art house film".

i spend a lot of time posting in the DVD Beaver listserv. its full of people who (like me) enjoy the works of antonioni and other foreign filmmakers. antonioni's segemt in Eros was universally panned, even by the elitist cinephiles were disappointed by it. btw, i thought Wong Kar Wai's segment was very good.
