Hi Jarred-
If I have a DVX but want to attend (IN NY)- would you recommend just hooking up with someone with an HVX / and watching- or shall I bring my DVX as well-
I am still a definate newbie, so all of this will be helpful to me I am sure in many ways-

Also- estimated start time? I probably will not get there until about 8:30 ish.

There will be pleanty of people there with HVXs whose shoulder you can look over.
Plus Barry projects the menu up on the screen so you can see what's going on yourself.
Bring the DVX if you like, but it's not gonna do much good for learning the HVX settings.

Yes there is, but there is more seating in NY than LA so it shouldn't sell out for another week or so.
 
just so you guys that registered know, I will open up the restricted forum public till after nab when i can modify your permissions to manually to lock it back down.

I registered for Vegas awhile back but haven't received any emails about location, or the private forum etc. Do we get some kind of confirmation?

is there some sort of printed handout / cheatsheet given at Bootcamp? (I have looked, but couldn't find info on this)

also- sorry, but I didn't understand your previous post -
having now registered for NYC- is there a specific forum we should be going to for more info etc?
 
Hi Guys. I've been reading these forums for a while now, but have only posted a few times. I just registered for the bootcamp in NYC and I can't wait. See you all there!
 
Coo I still have a 3.5 hr drive back to LA afterwards :) Jarred, Barry, you want me to do my color and gamma seminar from NAB as well as SD conversion? I brought a bunch of color samples to demo, and I can use Barry's DSC chart for gray values.
